Event Pool III - UFC 104 : Machida vs. Rua

The rules, entry fee & awards are as follows :

This pool requires that you pay the entry fee of 100 Crypt Cash points and pick the fighters offered in the event that you expect to be the winners, you must pick a winner for each bout in the Event Pool.

There are 5 bouts above to make your picks in, and 2 incorrect picks eliminates you from the Pool.

If all players have 2 or more incorrect picks, the player or players with the most amount of correct picks will win 1st Place in the Event Pool.

If only 1 player is not eliminated he will win all of the prize awards, if more than 1 player or players are tied for 1st Place they will split the award prizes between them.

If 2 players are tied for 1st Place, they will split the 1st & 2nd Place awards along with the entry fee bonus, leaving only the 3rd Place award for any other player or players in 3rd Place.

If 3 or more players are tied for 1st Place, they will split the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place awards along with the entry fee bonus, and there will be no 2nd or 3rd place winner.

This pool does not continue and a winner(s) is / are determined after the event.


Prizes :

1st Place : 5,000
2nd Place : 2,500
3rd Place : 1,250

The 1st Place winner or winners will also collect the entry fee that each player has paid as a bonus.

Fight picks must be entered in this thread by October 24, 2009 no later than 7:00 pm East Coast Time, and entry fees will be collected by "The Crypt Bookie" by using your donate option in this thread to pay the 100 to "The Crypt Bookie" when each player makes and enters their Event Pool picks... again, the entry fee 100 Crypt Cash points.

And this is a more of a re-occuring thing where winners build up into different "classes" as far as pool entry is concerned. Where we're brand new with this, it will take a few events to build up the sharks who know their suicide pools.

We'll eventually have Suicide Pools that continue until all but the winning players are eliminated, but the Event Pools are just the beginning and every member can join in the fun if they would like.

In the Suicide Pools that will be coming down the road in just a short time, once you're eliminated from the pool you'll have to wait until the pool is over to take part in the next Suicide Pool.

In the Event Pools, everybody can take part because the Pool is open to all members and are only open for the event that they are created for, hence the name "Event Pool".

We're going through and verifying the outcomes of the various Fantasy MMA Challenges that we've put on here and some of the early games were a bit different as far as payouts go, but we wanted to get a more accurate list of the outcomes for possible future player rankings for each of the games that have a history for.

So here are the correct winners & place finishers in the Event Pool III :
