Slayer, reign in blood always did me good. The first Disturbed cd has a lot of blood and sweat lost due to it. But ONLY the first one, I think they suck ass since the first one but I do love the first.

Nice, that whole Chilli Peppers Cd is good Cota, back when I thought the bad was really good. I think that's the Mother's Milk disc and it has a bunch of great workout songs on it.

Sorry Disc, I think the new shit (anything after the 1st) is total ass. I still think they do good covers, those I like. But there's a saying out there that I think fits Disturbed perfectely. You have a life time to make your first album, and a year to make your 2nd. It usually shows. It's mostly his signing, the first one, he really sounded hungry/angry/in need/desperate which made the cd have a shitload of heart in it. Now, he's trying to sound angry but he's no longer angry cause he's rich and for me it show.
A good buddy of mine in Alaska told me he really like the 2nd CD and such. First I called him a fag and hung up. :D He told me it wasn't as good as the first but still liked it. But he's also a radio guy, listens to the radio for music. I told him that the radio stations had brainwashed him to think it was anything close to the first cd. I told him to listen to the first cd all the way through, then listen to the 2nd and then tell me they are in the same ballpark. He did and agreed with me, not even close. We came to the conclusion that the 2nd cd might be ok for driving around town but was still far from good. :D And I don't think I've listened to another full Disturbed cd since. I've heard a few songs on the radio and such but that was enough to let me know nothing has changed.

i listen to the radio but its the same as the dman tv. commercials galore. so i listen to the cd's alot too. i am still a fan of their stuff. maybe there isnt as much "heart" behind it but i feel like they have put out some good stuff considering. i dont mind if they dont necessarily care as much as long as they put out some good music, which i think they have. but im a fan of soooo much music. all sorts.

For me it's hardcore all the way- hardcore metal and hardcore rap. Pantera, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, & Westside Connection, NWA etc. It gets the testosterone going.
