We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Not sure if we have any fans of the "Rocky" franchise here. Kind of obligatory for me, as I was born and raised in Philadelphia... I've seen them all, and found elements to enjoy in all the Stallone-inspired movies, up to and including "Creed", the saga continuing with the son of Apollo Creed, Rocky's original nemesis.

Recently saw "Creed II", and absolutely had a good time. Another in the series of against-all-odds stories, but at least to me, they always make me feel good. Rocky becomes the teacher, the mentor, almost the guru, and without giving away any story elements, his story continues as well. Thumbs up, with my Philly bias stated and out in the open.

Also went to see "The Green Book", a story that is kind of uniquely American, but I think also has aspects that are universally human. We're always confronted with our human prejudices and the juxtaposition of cultures, even within the same country, and this was a very human story. Set in the 60's here in the States, a tale of racial conflict and changing times, but again, also a story of the timeless human struggle with our differences and our commonalities. I thought it was really good, probably not for everyone, but well worth the time...
