Joseph Benavidez, Henry Cejudo to coach on The Ultimate Fighter 24, fight in December

    By Marc Raimondi @marc_raimondi on May 11, 2016, 8:40p
It's going to be an all-flyweight version of The Ultimate Fighter.

Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo will coach against one another on the 24th season of the show, which begins filming this summer and will air in the fall on FOX Sports 1, it was announced Wednesday on UFC Tonight. Then, the two flyweight contenders will meet in December in the co-main event of The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale in Las Vegas.

What a stupid god damn Fight i hate this Match Making and by the looks of it Demetrious Johnson is going to be sitting out for a long time now waiting for his next Fight unless he has a surprise move to 135 planned

Which is fine because DJ has cleared out the division. Nothing else for him to do there. Either he moves to 135 and gets destroyed, or carry on being dominate in a division not many care about.

Looking at it away from the DJ perspective..........it's a great fight though.

Looks like DJ could be next for Cruz after all, I hope so........it holds nothing up, and gives DJ a chance of a great legacy in the sport too........only other option I can see is a Horiguchi rematch.

I take it back.......just read the whole story.......so DJ is fighting the winner from this season on the TUF Finale card after all........no way I'd be coaching these guys if I'm JoeB or Cejudo.

Thing I don't like is, people are saying this isn't holding anything up, but McGregor vs Dos Anjos was. I mean, McGregor is holding it up right now absolutely. But they were going to do Edgar vs Aldo before McGregor could come back and fight one of them anyway. This is the same situation. Let the guy move up and fight for a title to try be a two division champ.

Yeah, the main difference is at 145 there was challengers ready and waiting.......at 125 there is not, and even those close are all guys already beaten by DJ once or twice! I have no problems with these fights, I'm all for seeing fun fights, regardless the division the fighter is fighting at.

That's not fair to Demetrious Johnson he is being punished for being a great Champion?

Joseph Benavidez could still Fight Johnson and then Fight Henry Cejudo hell even if Benavidez has to miss some of TUF for the Fight no biggie just have someone from Alpha Male step up and do it off the start
