We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

As much as this is a weak card(especially as it's the 25th anniversary card), I can't wait for TKZ vs Yair, a fight of the year contender for me, on paper. Hopefully it delivers.

There are 3-4 fights I like on this....the problem is the rest of the fights are terrible (on paper)

Watching this live right now, worked an afternoon gig today, and I'm enjoying it.

Came in on Trizano/Pena, both guys had fast hands, and boxing/kickboxing experience. Thought Pena gassed, and looked like an idiot it the ring continually shaking his head when he got cracked. Decent matchup for younger up and coming fighters, and Trizano got a good decision.

Maycee Barber looked like someone who may do some damage in the future at 115. You guys all know I favor the grapplers, and while Dariush may not have set the house on fire, as a former no-gi BJJ world champ, he earned a 30-25 score against a good puncher who had no answers for the body triangle.

Watching Pennington/de Randamie right now, which started with a bang and has slowed somewhat. De Randamie looks bigger, and has obvious class in her Muy Thai stand-up, but Pennington is mauling her a bit in the clinch. Rd. 3... Agree with 30-27 for de Randamie...

Just saw Cerrone's record, 33-11.... Wow... That's a lot of combat. Makes Perry at 12-3 seem like a rookie beginner...

Kind of feel for Cowboy, having read about the bullshit he's gone through at Jackson/Winkeljon. Still, when they close the cage gate, it's on, and none of that stuff matters.

Fantastic sub for Cerrone, answers all the questions anybody might have had about whether Jackson/Wink might have given Perry some kind of inside advantage. Cerrone was saying it before the fight, that he had Perry in every skill area, and from what I just saw, I'd say yeah, he does...

With the victory, Cerrone ranks #1 all time, most UFC fights, and #1 all time in UFC finishes. Solid performance from the new Dad...

When Joe Rogan, TKD and BJJ black belt, says Yair Rodriguez has some of the best kicking technique we've ever seen in the octagon, it's an opinion I'll give credence to.

We've all experienced the styles-make-fights reality, and with KZ just continually coming forward, this should be a shootout. It's time...

Amazing scramble at the end of Rd. 1, as the bell rang... I think Rodriguez out pointed KZ in rd. 1, 10-9 Rodriguez.

This is a great fight. I've got Rodriquez up 20-18 after two, but CSJ has landed some good shots. Rodriguez can really scramble, and his combinations are super-creative. KZ
has a split lip... Rodriguez is a really good defensive fighter, as he's picking off a lot of shots. Zombie is landing, but I feel he's losing on volume, and his face is getting busted up.

Rd. 3 is closer, Zombie probably got the better shots there, so I'll go 29-28 Rodriguez. KZ's face is busted up, but Yair is bleeding too...

Saw significant strike stats, seem to favor CSJ, and I think this one could be even going into the fifth. Rodriquez had success early with leg kicks, has moved away from that, should go back to it IMO.

Wow... What just happened??? KO at the bell, KZ still down on the canvas. Elbow strike from Rodriguez at the bell, crazy angle, don't think I've ever seen an elbow shot from that angle.... Amazing fight, obvious Fight Of The Night, and give Cerrone the $50K performance bonus...

Yair just said he hurt his foot in rd. 1 on a kick, so maybe that's why he pulled away from the leg shots later in the fight... Great fight.

    Great night of fights.

Yair Rodriguez with one of the craziest KO's I've ever seen, and the fight itself was fantastic. TKZ did what he does, just keeps moving forward all the time, and despite having what seemed the large strikes landed advantage, I thought Yair was landing the better, cleaner strikes throughout. Really close 4 rounds to score, I had it even going to the last......and damn it was a fun fight.

Cerrone did what I thought he would, just outclass Perry. Perry seems lost against guys who have actual skill and technique and the only chance he had was if Cerrone was getting old in the cage...….but he's not, he's just not as good as the more elite bigger guys at WW. Perry has a long way to go yet, but he has a place in the division in a Matt Brown or Chris Leben type of role. Real cool to see Cowboy bring his son into the cage too.

GDR was just far too good a striker for Rocky, she tried to clinch to stop GDR but she was having trouble any time she allowed Germaine a little space. Thought it was a clear 30-27, in a decent, if not great fight.

Dariush did what he does best, dominated on the ground. Not the best fight but he needed a win and got it, time to rebound now and get his career going again.

Barbers looked like an animal in her fight, but it did seem like she had a huge size advantage. Cifers looked like an atomweight, and Barbers a very big strawweight...….still, she dominated and landed some really heavy shots. Look forward to seeing her fight again. Good fight.

Well Mike Trizano proved he was the legit winner of the last season of TUF, Pena didn't really give him too much trouble as the fight moved on. Violent Bob Ross has some work to do now to prove he can cut it in the UFC.

Not much to say about the prelims, but god dammit, John Gunther is a UFC fighter...….and the Flyweights are all being cut. Think about that!

    Watched the main and co-main:

I had Jung up 3-1 going into the 5th and 1 second away from winning the fight, but my gawd what an elbow Yair threw there.....amazing!!!! Great fight for sure. Looks like Yair hurt his leg in the celebration with one of his corner men falling on him??

Cerrone looked very solid and looks to still be a very capable fighter for the 6-15 ranked range of fighters
